We each have our own idea of wellness and what it means to us as individuals. I equate wellness with "feeling healthy, confident, and peaceful", and that makes me feel "well". What does wellness mean to you? Is it money or your job or your kids or your spouse or your weight or self esteem? I feel that we are solely responsible for our happiness or wellness. It has to come from within and how we feel about ourself- self image. This is where it gets murky, because for some, self image comes from how many likes they get on social media or how they feel others perceive them. This is leading the younger generation to more self image disorders, and even anxiety/depression disorders at younger ages than ever before. This is giving our power away to others and not holding ourself accountable for our own health and wellness. It is incumbent on each person to take responsibility for our decisions, because putting it on others or situations is giving your power to them. Taking accountability is powerful, and gives you confidence in a whole new way. It means you can make changes for a different outcome. This doesn't mean you may not need help to reach your goals. Taking accountability for our choices can give you the confidence to ask for help to reach your goals of health and wellness. Deny the negative self talk and change your thought process. If you talk to yourself negatively or think of yourself in a negative light, you expect it from others as well and you may feel that you deserve it. You are beautiful and smart and powerful!!!! Getting healthy is a lifestyle change and I am here to help you achieve those goals, especially when it comes to weight loss. For most of us, being overweight holds us back and we can't reach our full potential if we aren't confident. There is no perfect weight, but if you are over your "normal weight" this can affect every aspect of your like. No time like the present to get healthy and transform your life! I am not talking about being skinny or outside beauty. I am talking about how you feel in your body, and that has nothing to do with the number on the scale or the size pant you wear. I would love to help you reach your goals!
Sincerely,
